i decided to blog.
because its the last chance to blog in 2008!!!
woo hoo!

and you're probably thinking i'll blog abt resolutions,
but NO! i won't, cause i won't stick to it anyways... Lmao.

BUT... i will blog about wishes.
specifically, my wishes for everyone in 2009.
(note: when i say 'everyone' i really don't mean everybody in the world. cause that will be just impossible. i DO mean however, friends and some random people who totally rock.)

I wish...

1. Jasmine - to be totally hardworking in school and still have time to stalk Jeanette.
2. Rachel - to excel even more in academics and create the perfect scrapbook/board for your room and and get a photo with Alex Pettyfer. i still suggest photoshop.
   
3. Joy - to keep your fun & random personality even during stressful times like the O's. cause it totally brightens everyone's day.
4. Cynthyia - get really good results for the O's and get a veterinary course. oh, and get another pet for your reward.
5. Amanda - persevere throughout the toughest times cause everybody is counting on you for you know what. AND, bake nice cupcakes....for me =)
   
6. Petrina - find a plan that gives unlimited smses and calls! OR have super-self-control.. your choice. hahas
   
7. Sheena - marry jacob black and make him carry you on his back to every avenged sevenfold gig.
   
8. Dexter - be a PRO at gunbound and at cycling or whatever you do with your Wheeler.

Holiday Festive Season

Its the super awesome Christmas season/ new year...
and i'm so into this..

if only.. i was not still schooling.
i swear, i don't even feel like a student anymore.
i can't even picture myself in school nxt year.
whats worse is that nxt year is the O's.
i'm in deep POO. omg.
with a never ending pile of HW, which is still left untouched..
sighs. home-school i yearn for you..

okay. back to the joyous festive season!
i watched Nick & Norah's Infinte Playlist & Twilight alrdy!!




Both awesome films.
but if i were to catch one again,
Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist is the one.

My opinion on the films:

Twilight may not be the best movie kind, but it leaves a memorable print on you.
like after the movie, i'm still thinking of Edward's look/stare and
the whole 'i-wish-i-was-bella-cause-she-gets-to-hang-with-awesome-vampires' thing .
even as i lay on my bed, i dream about Twilight.
I didn't even think that it was one of the best movies,
it just leaves a haunting yet lovely memory.
3+half stars out of 5.

Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist. loved it.
It shall be my second Fav movie now.
I was practically smiling through the whole movie.
its smart, hilarious and romantic.
and the playlist(music) is amazing,
its not even my type of songs but it compliments the movie so well, i actually want to get the soundtrack so i can relive the movie again.
4+half stars out of 5

back to reality, i need to finish up my student stuff.
meaning HOMEWORK, oh how i 'love' you.

okay...

1. My all time wish is to be the vocals in a female-fronted band. eg. paramore/hey monday/automatic loveletter. And i used to pretend the staircases in my house were like this really cool stage and i'll sing and hang-bang all i want.
   
2. I cannot drink other country's water. Only local water from singapore or mineral water. if not, serious tummy-ache/ diarrhea.
3. I drank from the milk bottle until i was 8 years old. seriously. lmao
4. I am into vampire stuff. eg. novels, songs, movies, shows. ( not to be mistaken as Gothic!)
5. I got proposed to when i was 9 years old by some 5 year old kid at the playground. (i turned him down obviously.) lols
6. I was sooo into Pokemon was i was in lower primary. Gotta Catch Them All!!
   
7. I cracked my collar-bone when i was 6 years old cause i fell from the monkey-bars. painful experience i swear.
8. I lied(big time) that i fell down the stairs instead of the monkey-bars as i was afraid i would be banned from using the monkey-bars.
9. I did not study for test or exams in Pri sch at all. I didn't know how to plus i thought everyone did not study too. Only before PSLE, did i learn to study.
10. I am super self conscious. I always ponder what people will think of me before i do anything. ( i personally hate this habit, but i can never get rid of it.)
11. I'm a geek, i'm so into tech, games and books.
12. I don't think kids/babies are cute, or rather they don't make me all fuzzy & warm inside. What makes me that? Pets, like really adorable puppies.
13. I'm not a flower person. Not planting them, not recieveing them. I just don't see the whole point in getting flowers which will eventually die. pass me the chocs and i'm happy.
14. I am very against Ah lians/ah bengs. Be cheenah in front of me and i'll roll my eyes.
15. I have this habit to be different from everyone else yet fit in at the same time. its tiring and confusing i know.

oh yea, playing wii with rach today was damn fun.
first boogie , then Guitar Hero WT , followed by Mario Kart.
just to summarise the gaming experience.. i shall put it in point form:

----1. Boogie

• Karaoke single player
• laughed at the voice cover for the songs
• laughed at the character dancing to the song
• laughed at the extra character laughing after the song

----2. Guitar Hero WT

• Sang and play the guitar
• Had to close the windows and doors cause our singing(noise) were too loud.
• played Tokio Hotel's Monsoon.
• played (sang) Paramore's Misery Business
• played (screamed to) 30 seconds to mars's the kill
  
• lost, so we restarted.
• laughed cause we lost.
• I wanted to sing Tokio Hotel.. done
  
• She wanted to sing Tokio Hotel AGAIN... done
• I wanted to play Paramore, she wanted to sing.. done

----3. Mario Kart

• Chose Characters. Rach:Baby Peach. Me:Toad.
• Tried to get the hang of the controls on the first course.
• Got it.
  
• Played the second course, omg.
• Screamed when our characters fell off the track.
• laughed at our screams.
• Played the third course, okay.... omg.
• Screamed again when our characters fall of the track.
• Laughed again at each other's screams.
  
• Played the final course.
• No falling off!
  
• But other characters overtook us. damn.
• I won 3rd place still. yay.
  

on to other points, this is like my third post in a day.
it's a record! lols

My Lovely ex-home.

Say that i have nothing better to do..
because while waiting for rachel to come to my house today,
i snapped the view from one of my windows.
which is the view of my previous estate.

from which i took my time finding my ex-house....
(u need total concentration to do that i swear!)
and viola! i found it but only the roof can be seen.
oh well, at least part of it still can be seen..

CAMPS??!

This will be the FIRST time i'll say CAMP is FUN.
Guitar CAMP was fun.
if you don't know me well enough, lets just say i dread CAMPS ALOT.
but for this, it was surprisingly great fun.
especially before bed time, with all the chatting and laughing.
kudos to Com members for a great last cca camp!
(not including the last day shit. Which is so not our fault!)

okay so i just wasted my (rare) free day.
what did i do?

watched october road and reaper.
played facebook playfish games.
sang on karaokeparty.com .
researched guitar hero world tour info.
read half of 'untamed' book.
practiced guitar exam pieces.
listened to paramore songs.
blog.

and as i looked out the window, i see a large swimming pool, a gym, a tennis court, a table tennis table, people playing badminton.
i wish i practiced a healthy lifestyle..
why can't i?

no swim suit.
lack of practical tennis knowledge. (technical too)
i don't gym.
shortage of other table tennis/badminton player.

someone said i am a boring person, always at home. (not counting the countless ccas that ate my holidays..)
for that i blame..

myself for being too lazy to actually hang out
myself for being a geek and liking tech stuff (blog!) & games.
myself for my busy schedule.
my friends for their busy schedule. ( but i still love u all!)
my anti-sociable and choosy personality.
myself cause i'm the main cause of this.

but u know what? i don't mind.
its way better than going for ccas cause it's horrible these days.
and i hope none of the juniors see this post cause i don't want to be the reason for worse ccas.
but this is my blog and i can write what i want and its the only way you'll see the other side of me as i'll never be like this in person.
someone save ccas before i really turn into my other person.
update: its sorta saved. finally.

i'll end this post with a happy ending though!
i've decided that i LOVE my new house although it is nothing compared to my previous one.

As i mentioned before, Weddings are exciting, joyous & amazing.
With all the dressing up stuff and pre-beauty treatments...

someone forgot to remind me it's not that perfect.

well, at least for me, ( mostly due to the fact that i have insufficient sleep)
for a normal person, 8 hours of snooze is enough to last
but for me, it is NOT enough.
i swear, by dinner time, i'm like half-conscious and lookin hideous in pictures.
no amount of make-up can cover it unfortunately.

but i tried, to put more make-up that is.
it helped... a little..
but i regretted it after the whole thing was over.
why?
because of the hassle of removing make-up when you're already half-dead.
It is torturous and you don't have a choice, unless you wanna wake up with a stiff face filled with pimples.

Oh, and when doing your hair at salons...
make sure the lady washing it does not have super long friggin nails.
it practically gives you scalp damage
even though they give u a massage (JUST the kind you do on your friends) to make it up for it.
well, it does NOT.
i mean not if you massage me after cutting (and touching) other people's hair!
it's just gross and disgusting + the smell of hair chemicals on your body is a major turn-off.

okay, other than that, the day was fun and the Wedding event itself was beautiful.


now... countdown to moving out. it's a bittersweet feeling.

Excitements and A Dead Point

exams are over finally but results are coming out this week.
one word, dead.

on to other non-depressing issues....
I'm moving in like 2 weeks!
overjoyed. excited. stoked. screams.
it's not some super huge house but its cozy enough
someone say party?

Next weekend is gonna be awesome with the wedding and stuff.
Not to mention dressing up.
being a girl is great, for this kind of thing.
hahas

Plus, my confirmation is in Nov.

Can i mention how life is wonderful now?
*that is if you ignore the results and school again.
its like gonna spoil the WHOLE ENTIRE mood.
wish me luck, i need it. no, no, i need a miracle.*

i'm just gonna deal with it day by day.

30 AUGUST -all smiles-

Birthday was simply amazing. One of the BEST birthday ever. At first, i was 'Oh, its just another birthday..." , but then everything changed. Thanks Jas, Joy, Cyn and Rach , the surprise celebration was just OMG, it made me really happy and i swear i almost wanted to cry. I had a fun time laughing with you all and AEC, thanks for the rockin' figurine, i really really LOVE it (its on my room table & every time i look at it, i think of you all! hahas). Then there's my family, the cake (its cookies 'n' cream ice-cream cake from Swensens!) is super yummy and sweet! The dinner was was Fun and delicious too, THANK YOU! Jas & Manda, I LOVE the hand-made cards, most of all the message inside! It is so touching and sweet and just wonderful of you (I Wanted to post pics of the cards cause its lovely but its something personal to me so.. too bad! Lols). Oh, once again thanks, it was a memorable B'day =)  I LOVE YOU ALL! 

Now... who's B'day is up next??  Gotta work on it, so cya!

well yes, i played with barbie and i admit i think they're cute and enjoyable.
